LALA community cooperation network
About
The Learning Analytics community in Latin America (LALA), is an international open access group formed by Higher Education Institutions(HEI) and related companies, which aims to ensure the sustainability of the results of the LALA project, funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union.
General Objective
The LALA Community’s general objective is to promote a long-term sustainable cooperation, creating lasting relationships among its members, which contribute to the replication of the results obtained by the LALA project. For this purpose, through the LALA community, research and knowledge exchange will be sought to develop local capacity in HEIs in Latin America to create, adapt, implement and adopt Data Analytics tools to improve the academic decision-making process.
New Members
The LALA Community has an open subscription policy, so that, without distinction, organizations, companies or academic entities can be added to the network. The mechanism for incorporating new members into the LALA Community is the approval of the membership application, made through the Accession letter published on the web, addressed to the coordinators of the LALA Community. The coordinators inform the other members of the advisory committee of the request received, who decide on the acceptance or not of the applicant’s incorporation into the Community. This decision is made using any electronic means available through direct voting and by simple majority.
